How This Shipment Moved

Two cranes, two pickup locations

The shipment brought together two used Broderson IC-80 carry-deck cranes from separate U.S. locations. We coordinated collection and inland transport to the Port of Houston.

Keeping the cranes assembled

Both machines could move under their own power and were prepared for Ro-Ro shipment. This plan avoided dismantling and container packing, while export paperwork and vessel arrangements were coordinated for the pair.

Houston to Dakar

The cranes travelled by sea to Dakar, Senegal. Our destination partners assisted with offloading and onward delivery coordination, while the client received updates through the port and ocean stages.

Did both cranes travel in a container?

No. The two Broderson IC-80 cranes were prepared for Ro-Ro and shipped from Houston to Dakar without container packing.

Can you combine equipment from different locations?

Yes. These two cranes were collected from separate U.S. locations and brought together for the ocean shipment. Pickup dates and port receiving deadlines need to be coordinated.

Does Ro-Ro mean every crane will be accepted?

No. Dimensions, operating condition, route and carrier requirements must be checked for the individual machine. The method used for this pair is not an automatic approval for another shipment.
